Day 3 of The Eric Trap Book Tour

Wow, we have gotten some great reviews so far on our new book- The Eric Trap. Yesterday I didn't realize that Jenn Day was going to write on Day 2, I had her down for Day 3 so it was not only a surprized when I read her post, I was trilled. Jenn knocked it out of the park with what has been one of my faviorite reviews so far. You can read it by clicking here. I'm going to wait until Kenny posts about Day 3 before I point you to the next stops on the tour since he is driving the tour bus. So while I'm waiting for him to post I think I'll just give away some books.

So...... here's what you have to do to win:

1st- leave a comment below why you should win a free book...
 then 2nd- tweet

@jimwideman is giving away 3 free copies of the #EricTrap on his blog. #kidmin #stumin #oc12

I'll choose 3 winners and post them here. Have fun!

  2. Up until 1 year ago I have been a student ministries pastor for about 8 years. God has completely taken my passion more towards #FamMin and #Kidmin. Truly excites to get a copy of your book because I am learning that these two ministries are completely different and would love a chance to gain more insights to the new calling in my life.

  3. I should win a free book, not because I deserve one, but because you are striving to be like Christ and want to show some grace! = )

  4. I would like a copy of the eric trap, because I believe it is another great opportunity to learn from the experience of other kidmin who have know more than I do. I believe reading this book will answer questions about children's ministry that I have, and also questions that I didn't know I should asked. I also have a feeling this book will help me clear out the things that seem urgent and point out the things that are necessary to be the #kidmin that God has called me to be and to help grow our children's ministry into what God has called it to be. This book will make me better, which in turn will make my team better, and make my department better.

  5. Sounds like a book I, and my campus leaders, could really use. Putting first things first is so important and unfortunately so hard for some people. Thanks.

  7. After 15 years as a CP and even longer in periodic kidmin activities, I am at a crossroads in life and ministry, almost a time of reinvention. I believe "The Eric Trap" will help me in evaluating what I've done and learning how to do it even better in my next children's ministry adventure to the glory of God!

  9. “Stretch” changed my life and my ministry. I would love “The Eric Trap” because I have so much to learn from other kidmins but such limited resources to do such.

    1. Is there suppose to be a space between "the" and "club" or is it an underscore that didn't show up? Thanks so much!

  13. Some of the leadership tools in Eric Trap will do me good right now. At a low spot in my ministry, but a high too. Our church is growing at rapid pace and need some structure to pull it all together. Would love to read this book!
